Objective
The objective of this project was to redesign the visual identity of an existing boutique pop-up, The Collective Blend by Kelly. The new identity needed to re-imagine the current illustrations with new typeface choices. Readability was essential along with designs that can be easily applied to the wide variety of product packages and labels.
The scope of the project included a logo, signage, several product packages, promotional products and a vehicle wrap.
Brief Narrative
The Collective Blend by Kelly brand focuses on providing all natural yet decadent products. They include items such as perfume balms, bath bombs, body scrubs, lotions, salt soaks and serums; all in distinctive packaging. Because of this, a primary logo was developed along with secondary logos for packages requiring smaller or uniquely shaped branding applications.
The owner had been using packages with premade patterns, therefore the brand illustrations were developed into patterns to include with the new visual identity. This patterning applied to packages allows the customer to easily identify the brand.
The owner also has a 1960’s Volkswagen bus that was prepared for a vehicle wrap. It was designed to be mindful of the quirky lines with playful applications of the pattern, individual illustrations, logo and company information.
